if i can remember few years back usually gsd local borns cost in istorya around 10k-15k. now some local borns are priced at 15k above.

my point is that; the quality of gsd's here in cebu are getting better if we look into the prices. sauna very seldom in cebu gyud ma kit-an sa istorya gsd's priced 15k above and sold. in my opnion ngano mao trend sauna because most local born gsd's before(inclined in istorya) are not of that high quality. without internet those gsd breeders na aims to retain the high standard or elevate the quality of their products are hard to find. secondly; first time owners of gsd's pag maka dungog ug a gsd pup priced at 20k above will steer away na dayon. unlike now even first time buyers/owners have an idea na the price is co-relative to the quality.

i agree with ur first statement that 'dghan na'g nindot na gsd krun' but with regards to the other statement,i dont think so,i mean prices are not the primary bases for a 'quality dog'..if u knw wat i mean.there are people during those days that sell quality pups at very cheap prices & there are people nowadays selling ugly pups, not to mention unhealthy, at very wayward prices, just bcos its a son or daughter of this & that dog, etc. i have no idea when did u first get a glimpse of ur first GSD and put in the "quality" words in it but the way i see it most would be GSD owners got more quality gsd's,& has learned to propagate quality pups nowadays due to the fact that they are more aware of what a quality GSD looks like, they knew the importance of a pedigree, temperament, etc.hope this will continue & spread along with other breed owners as well

got first glimpse of "quality" gsd in cebu from one of the products of von janhock. NUtley is lucky to still have one of the "quality" progeny of HERO VON HAUS ABATE(arlett line) x LISA VON DER GRAFTSHAFT MARK(bann x bad-boll line) which is the dam(9 years old naman tingali ron) of his BELLA SWAN now.

ah ok,so wat uve started to see are modern bloods.im also a fan of v.arlett's specially ulk ,the 95'seiger i supposed.but are more inclined with old lines like the v. arminius & vd.wienarau of the martins, almost always in fact my male is visum v. arminius linebred, 2.2.3.but nywy, just a word of CAUTION,one of my female,is a product of hockson's janhock,so far i like the way it produced specially when bred with my male, whose a direct son of japanese seiger falgo v.schlossgraben & bibi v. maxitrend...the croups & angulations are great...but my only comment regarding my female (& some,if not most janhock bitches),as per veterinary clinic researched data..is the fact that they are very prone to birthing problems (dystocia),3 out of 4..including my female has undergone ceasarian section!the problem i saw is the fact that they have weak nerves for contraction, shallow pelvic opening & very thin uterine lining,we've checked & compaired it with some bitches during C-sections.so please dont just be familiar with the looks but the overall physiology of a certain line as well

good info. didnt knew the janhock's bitches have that common physio issues. just realized now that nutley's bitch is one of those who has this whelping issues. almost no progress without oxytocin administered.

too bad if hitler had a chance; he probably had made the gsd the national dog of germany instead of the gd. the black and tan(most common marking of a gsd) is the same color of germany's flag. :P

exactly, not to mention the lack of milk & 2 of which has developed chronic mastitis (sour milk),but dont progress first with oxytocin, when ur dog has labor difficulty in labor coz it could create hypoxia(lack of oxygen)to the unborn pups 80 % of fetal deaths are due to this.internal manipulation, calcium injections & rest of the dam @ birthing periods could actually create solutions during dystocias.

actually,i have a dog magazine clipping that the gsd has been germany's national dog already, replacing the Dachshund & not the great dane.coz it has never been germany's national emblem due to its Danish name
