nakakita na jud ko ani last sunday! for me, it wasn't the best of the x-men movies ever. bitin gyud kaayo. ok ang special effects but the story kinda sucked. it seemed like it was written haphazardly. wala kaayo continuity. there were too many characters without proper build-up and it didn't give much justice. here are some of the good and bad points that i noticed in the movie.

good points:Â* :mrgreen:
* great special effects. the best jud ang mga special effects sa scenes with jean grey. super!
* more action scenes from storm and gilupad na jud siya ever!
* nice action scenes by wolverine.
* the fight scene between iceman and pyro.
* magneto still has a lot of respect for charles xavier. remember that scene when he told pyro that xavier has done a lot for mutants to survive when pyro arrogantly said that he would've wanted to kill xavier if given the opportunity by magneto.
* that scene where the phoenix inside jean grey's body asked wolverine this: "you would die for them?" then wolverine said, no and that he would die for her and said "i love you" then jean grey said save me (or was that kill me?). tapos wolverine killed her and she kinda smiled that it was over...that scene was the best. it almost made me cry.
* that scene when magneto said something like "if we want our freedom, we must fight for it." it was such a statement, knowing that he's gay. i love that.

bad points:Â*
* they portrayed the phoenix as a different side of jean grey's personality but actually the phoenix is a different entity and it just used jean grey's body as the host.
* i didn't like it that they portrayed rogue as a jealous girl who wanted to get rid of her powers when she could have a had a major part in the movie. why was there no gambit at all?
* nightcrawler wasn't there at all.
* leech should have been green-skinned.
* juggernaut doesn't talk a lot and he doesn't have an accent.
* there were only short screen times for colossus.
* arclight's character was boringgggggg....
* even a die hard fan would find it hard to recognize where siryn is in the movie.
* angel (warren worthington) was just a decoration.

kato sa last scene ba after the credits, mao to na guy na brain dead, and cguro nibalhin ang mind ni xavier didto? guess lang nako. hehe.

sakto ka. it was actually professor xavier's mind or spirit ba tua nga nibalhin sa patient. it kinda hinted na there might be x-men 4. i hope so kay bitin jud ever ang movie.

kabati ni juggy, british pa jud! dili man british sya sa comics, dili man pud mutant si juggy, kato man cytorak crystal ang naghatag niya ug powers, so dili unta to siya maapektohan sa power ni leech diba?

i thought about that too. the actor who played juggernaut was vinnie jones. if you saw the movie she's the man, he was the one who played as the soccer coach. naa jud siya accent, which was not really "innate" to the character. i think ang powers ni leech maka-affect sad to sa iyang helmet mao na knock out jud si juggernaut. pero funny lang kaau ang exit scene niya sa movie.

btw, kinsa mani sila...
2. katong negra na paspas mulihok, di kaha ni si quicksilver gihimu bae?? haha.

2. nope, that wasn't quicksilver at all. wala man quicksilver sa cast. the african-american mutant with the omega tattoo on her face and with the piercing below her lower lip was callisto.
3. katong girl nga murag bayot was arclight.
4. katong na-invisible nga girl with purple hair was psylocke, played by a filipina. her name's mei melancon and she was born in manila. wala lang kaayo exposure iyang role, walay justice. i didn't know psylocke has the power to be invisible. she actually has telekinesis and some telepathy as well tapos she can create "psychic blades," one of her powerful weaopns.

jubilee was portrayed as a student in xavier's school. wala siya gipakita in action with her powers and all. here's a scene where you can see jubilee.

1. kinsa man jud adto si spyke. was it the asian looking guy who can project metallic spykes from his face or was it the guy who was killed by wolverine in a forest encounter? surely, only one of them is spyke, so who's the other mutant?
2. have you noticed ang real name sa actress na nag-play as mystique nakulangan na? she used to go by the name rebecca romijn-stamros but now she's just using rebecca romijn. any idea?

the guy killed by wolverine, was indeed, spyke.
and the asian guy with thorns coming out of his face is kidomega...
