I am not a fan of Lito Lapid but I was surprised that he authored a law beneficial to us which was recently signed by the president. This link says it all.

It was actually welcoming news for all of us. Since the public can now be assured of free legal assistance, the lawyers are not at the sour end since they can assert tax deductions in return. At the very least, all were considered in the scenario. If we will compare Noynoy's achievement as a legislator, he will look pale beside Lapid with this law, I suppose.
