    Hi,

    Three things lang sirs/madams.

    1:

I just want to ask kung unsa ang performance sa PHP, MySQL and Apache on Windows? Is it really better kung run sa Linux? Just performance of W-AMP(Windows,Apache,MySql,PHP). For sure naay security issues sa Windows but I'd like to know sa performance.

    2:

I've heard of phpdev, AppServ, FoxServ, NuSphere, and PHP Triad. Kuyawan lagi ko aning mga programs like these kay kalit lang kawala or dili na free. Would you guys recommend using these? Like joomla and etc. Magamit pa ba imong website if wala na support? Can we simply port it using another CMS? Something like making few changes in the config lang or few code modification and run it with another CMS nga WAMP. I have never used free CMS before. I really have to ask.

The reason that I use ASP.NET is I dont care much for the price kay effective jud siya for development whether small website or huge website. Maka level jud niya ang Java because sa richness sa platform and what the language can offer. You'll love OOP when you learn to appreciate it and when working with a number of people. With PHP 5, interested na sad ko because of its rich features. I was never interested with version 4.

    3:

Lastly, is there anyone of you guys who run WAMP with ASP.NET and IIS 6.0(win2003) simultaneously? My friend tested it locally and it worked! Pero how about sa real-world? Like sa actual website. What could be the possible issues/problem. Naa man gud ko two websites. The other one was programmed using VB6 COM(yes VB6 activeX and compiled) and I need to maintain a website written in PHP. I wont suggest to buy another web server coz they've just bought file server.

Thanks in advance! Hope to get good answers.

    with apache,
you can even deploy your own test site temporarily over the internet from your computer using your current ip address(dynamic). haha

So you have to be careful with that.

bai, try phpTriad. No worries, it's a good start. Go figure out the other stuff.
