benefit sa i3? future proof pila ka years, gamay ug nm, bugnaw, nindut OC capabilities, gamay powerconsumption sa idle ug load, gamit daan nya save if dili ni for gaming kay HD na daan nya ok2x daw kuno ang builtin graphics kay pinaka kusog sa tanang ONBOARD as what they said.

just because its a TOCK doesn't mean that it is worth its value. i think you're missing the point here, go ahead and re-read simoko's statement para masabot nimo amoang gi discuss.

this i3 is definitely a TICK...here are some features for the TOCK of this processor line expected to be released Q2 - 2011:

    - new instructions called Advanced Vector Extensions
    - it will use the Cougar Point chipset supporting 4 displays...2 on the CPU integrated graphics and two via the chipset USB
    - Dynamic Turbo
    - IMC support for DDR3-1600
    - and many more...

naa nag pm kung unsa ning TICK-TOCK: a TICK is a die shrink/derivative, while a TOCK is a new microarchitecture...
example: @ the 45nm level: the Yorkfield/Wolfdale/Penryn were TICK & the Nehalem architecture were TOCK (Bloomfield/Lynnfield/Clarkfield)

please read this follow up review at anandtech. Recommended ang H55-USB3 over the H57. The H55 is 6k+ dinhi sa Pinas

Unsurprisingly, the ASRock H55M-Pro, Gigabyte H55M-USB3 and the ASUS P7H55D-M Evo are the three boards we feel most comfortable recommending. Get one of these three, flash it to the latest BIOS, and you should be in for a trouble/frustration-free ride.

I stand corrected, simoko. Thanks for the clarification. But just the same, I still believe going i3 is a sensible option given the other benefits of this 32nm proc
