well, my previous post was based from previous owners who had these experience with Korean cars, and i just relayed these experiences with regards to the topic of this thread.
Yes, you are very right. No matter what the brand may be, a car will always be car no matter what.
But if you talk about the longevity and the lifespan of the car, bottomline is on how it is being maintained and taken care of.
Moreso, any other car would last more than 5 years, 6 years, and perhaps 14 years and above.
Any car would last that long, the important thing and the main thing of having such cars is how you give TLC to your car.
Sadly, the downfall for Korean-made cars is the resale value.
If i am not mistaken, KIA and HYUNDAI are offering 5 year/100,000km warranty on their vehicles, respectively.
I can't believe they can give that much, unlike the Japanese-made vehicles such as Toyota and Mitsubishi who only give 3 years. I might be wrong with this info.
