thank you sa inyo tanan..as in.
see you ugma hapon..
good night CUTEs.. =)
ah! Online pman, hehehehe gud morning!!
I was there in the exhibit a few days back, let me share with you what I noticed:
1. The place was not well-lighted (sa turtle standards) and ordinary lights were used as opposed to those that have UVs.
2. In some tanks, turtles were over crowded.
3. One turtle nga luya uban sa turtles nga dili luya. Luoy ang luya nga turtle kay hilabtan sa di luya, luoy pud ang di luya kay basig matakdan sa turtle nga luya.
4. There were tanks that are too small for their turtle(s)
5. Placing more emphasis on "beauty" or the aesthetic presentation of our tanks over the comfort of our turtles. For instance ang mga flowing water which create added stress to the turtles, one tank was sealed and fewer O2 ang makasulod.
Here are my suggestions:
1. Dili nato ipa touch sa ubang tawo ang turtles (kay maka add ug stress).
2. Ipa quarantine ang mga nag luya nga turtles.
3. Provide a good lighting kung dili available ang UV lights, we can get a light bulb nya i-place in an area nga maka bask ang turtle. Temperature should be about 30 degrees Celsius. I will explain the rationale sa inyo didto.
4. Lets prioritize our turtles' needs over aesthetic presentation.
I hope you will not be offended by this post rather make it our lesson. this is our first time to join our turtles in exhibit anyway. More power!
