The Cebu Provincial Commission for Women and Children have started tapping the services of actresses Maui Taylor and Jennifer Lee in their campaign to promote the plans and programs addressing the issues concerning women.

In yesterday’s 10th Women Congress at the Cebu International Convention Center, both Taylor and Lee assured Cebu Governor Gwen Garcia and more than 1,000 women that they will continue helping the provincial government.

Both Taylor and Lee were designated by the provincial government as ambassadors for the program about women.

Taylor and Lee already apologized to Garcia and to the public through a written apology published in the newspapers in relation to the staging of a bikini show in Bantayan Island.

Garcia welcomed the support of both Taylor and Lee. Garcia said that her administration lined up several projects designed to address the problems and issues about women.
