Hi guys I just acquired lenses for a trip for Valentine's weekend. Let me just state this out that by no any means I am not a pro but just a hobbyist right now. I just started shooting 3 months ago and has been addicted to this great hobby.
First lens
Tamron 10-24mm F/3.5-4.5
Very user friendly.
fast fast fast focus
sharp sharp
IQ amazing
quiet
A bit heavy and comes w/ lens cap and hood.
Obviously a far jump from my kit lens (18-55 IS)..sharper.
Doesn't have VC ( as a result I was at higher shutter speeds to compensate camera shake.)
Sample pic
1/400 sec , f/10, ISO 200
1/320 sec , f/16, ISO 200
second lens ...
Tokina 100mm f/2.8
heavy like a rock.
Metal base becomes really cold (cold weather)
quiet
fast focusing
cool feature focusing limiter
manual/automatic focusing.
sharper than my prime lens a nifty fifty
comes with a hood and cap
no IS
