in a nutshell ang Hagia Sophia kay start as a magnificent church jud na siya...awesome as in awesome....(Christian)...pag daug sa Muslims na convert sad na siya into mosque.....hundreds of years later na find out nila nga under sa muslim nga paintings and writings naa Christian pictures sad....bilib ko sa sultan at that time...he really was a man of wisdom.....against man sa Islam unta pero gi instruct niya iyang builders to "cover" the Christian icons again...but make sure nga dili kaayo tagu-on para in later years makit-an balik....now it is a museum.....nindot nga place...kay nahimo jud na siya place of worship for 2 of the world's greatest religion nya wala siya giguba.....na maintain iyang old glory....one of the most beautiful places jud....

i think naa sa Historian nga wala na restore ang Hagia Sophia to its original glory after it was pillage during the invasion.. kung nindot na siya karon .. siguro mas nindot pa guid ang iyang original
