Will this be feasible in Cebu? Who knows. If they could come up with a Viva HotBabes Imax movie, with Maui Taylor's a$$ right in front of your face.... then it might just work.

Actually, I haven't been to an IMAX theater but my friend has seen one and he's getting this what they call "tennis game spectator" effect where you have to move your head to see the entire sreen.. So in the end you'll be missing lots of details..

Oh my God, you have tried IMAX haven't you?

actually i had an experienced watching a 4D theater at the Enchanted Kingdom way back in college..it was really a great experience coz aside from a 3D display, you can actually feel the movie as if you are the one riding the vehicle or sumthing..the seats and the lighting will interact with the movie.

but IMAX is much better though basing from the technolgy behind it.

Im not going to spend money if its too expensive. Maypa sa ordinary nalang ko nga sinehan kay barato pa.

I recommend watching action-packed movies at IMAX. it's all worth your hard earned buck. I've watched Star-Wars, Batman, Spiderman, Harry Potter etc etc on this screen.. all I can say is "WOW".. and I don't say that word a lot.. :mrgreen:

here's what I observed: movies I already watched on the regular screen would look and feel different when watched in an IMAX theater. the sounds (wrap-around digital surround sound) and I mean speakers literally placed on top of one another behind the screen itself 'til the very top, the crystal clear image (up to eight stories high) are just some of the things that make you feel like "you're literally in the movie". I'm not even IMAX's sales rep here but man... all I can say is, it's one of the most unforgettable experiences you'll have if you're a film buff or even if you're just a regular movie-goer like me.. wait 'til you've watched one show in IMAX and I'm pretty sure you'll be coming back for more.. :mrgreen:
