I'm not working right now. lingaw2x ra ni ako.
unsa gamit nimo engine bro?
To those who wants to learn 3D/Game Programming, I highly recommend Truevision3D engine. unlike other game engines nga naka-lock to a single programming/scripting language, Truevision3D is a multi-language API.
and most of all... it's FREESince TV3D supports many languages, including Visual Studio .NET languages (VB.NET, Visual C++, Visual C#), VB6, Delphi, APL, and BlitzMax, you can use the language your developers already know. Learning a new API should be easy, so why complicate it with learning a new language as well? You get the benefits of a highly optimized, pure C++ core, and the ease of programming in a language you are familiar with.
I've seen few highlights from XNA... TrueVision3D is just a 3D Engine/Library (depends on how you want to define it) Built on top of DirectX. XNA is more of a API/Framework type system that a ENGINE would need to be built upon. In other words, with XNA you can have engine like TrueVision3D does.
XNA is very low level for game designers... you can code fewer lines in truevision than in XNA.
like for example mag setup ka ug lights... about mga 3 - 5 lines of code lng in truevision.
also, with truevision... you can do direct coding with DirectX like XNA. so better choose truevision na lng you can code both at low and high level.
and again it supports many languages and it's FREE.
well... I'm not into GAME DEVELOPMENTwhatever goes from here, goodluck to your future endeavors

hey guyz, waz jud interested dri sa inyo 3d/game programming?
yo brad!
xiao_xiao, Im into 3D programming for a long time na(almost 6 years)., lingaw2x lang, although my carrer is a software engineer
lingaw2 nako ang 3d programming since maka practice ko ug mga important discipline sa programming like;
- writing fast and CPU optimized code.
- writing code with good design (and applying design patterns)
- practicing software engineering discipline
Im not using any 3D ENGINES im using 3D APIs instead to build my own 3D and game engines,
I prefer using DirectX(DirectGraphics 9) compare to OpenGL kay gubot ug nagka wlay klaru na ang OpenGL.
And im continue to learn shaders also, specially unified shaders sa DX 10.
Try learning 3D APIs instead of using 3D engines, mas daku imo control sa engine and mas ma practice ka..
my istorya handle is cebugdev ( cebu - game - developer) hehehe sa una pa ni, kay i was hoping to find somebody from cebu intrested in game development also.,
