hehe.. if the mavs lost game 7 because of the 3 pointer by Finley that put the spurs within 1 (101-100), unsa na pud kaha ikasulti sa critics ni mark cuban no? he let go of nash last year, and nash killed the mavs in game 6... now, they let go of finley and he did some marvelous plays in the dying seconds...

anyway, the suns are an offensive team lead by nash... but his teammates must look after him every play kay basin ma nawong nya inig pasa... that would create a toll on the energy they would give in defense... in contrast, with the mavs type of play, everybody is expecting everybody to shoot... at first i find it absurd kay point guards are supposed to pass first, shoot second but what we see in jason terry and devin harris, it's the other way around... and mavs are successful on that...

the next series will be a fantastic display of offensive prowess... cge na pud tag ka late sa trabaho ani inig ka buntag... hehe

this is a very interesting match-up indeed, so far Avery has made excellent decisions as far as players starting and type of play against the Spurs. but what fascinates me this coming match-up with the Suns is that: is he gonna play Suns type offense (run and gun) or play it slow, just like what the Clips and Lakers did with their series - pound the interior -. may be a combination of both? who would know but only Avery. but I believe Devin as well as Jason can very well contain Nash in a 7 game series. all Mavs' fan should hope is that the Suns miss their first 7 to 10 3 pointers in the opening minutes so it won't be another blow-out like the last time they played them. make good shot selections so the Suns won't kill them in transition, which they (Suns) are very capable of. just no let-down on defense the whole 48 minutes so there'd be no more of those comebacks.

I still believe the Mavs will win against the Suns in 6. :mrgreen:

We do know that the Mavericks has the advantage... a question lingers--> Who's gonna stop Dirk Nowitzki? Sure, we have answers about who's going to defend Stevie (Harris, Terry or Armstrong) and the quickness of Mavs' guards is gonna wear him out in the long run.

Know what, ever since nawala si Finley, murag bwenas ang Dallas. Tan-aw nako, si Finley ang malas sa Mavs before. Karon nga naa naman siya sa Spurs, ni balhin ang malas sa Spurs. hahaha!!

having watched all the Suns-Mavs game this season (2-2), Marion has defended Dirk decently holding him down bellow 30 in 3 games of the 4 meetings. I don't know if that will also translate in the post season 'coz Bowen wasn't able to stop no. 41 in their series despite limiting Dirk to a 25 pt average in the regular season. they (Bowen & Marion) both have the same quickness and agility to pose match-up problems with Dirk. the only thing though is, Dirk's game has improved tremendously and proved too much for Bowen with the latter giving up an average of almost 30 pts in the playoffs. Dirk should prove his critics wrong by scoring on Marion at will.. 35+ a game maybe?

.. it's not "malas" or something.. Finley was just a defensive liability, and it showed in the Spurs-Mavs series.

although credited cya sa game 7 overtime pero magkurog naman jud ni iya kamot basta last minute na... hehe.. pagawason unta nalang ni basta end game na...

grabe ang game 1 no? as expected, it's won on offense. na aftershock pa ang mavs sa spurs defensive series... im sure avery will make adjustments sa game 2... pareho pud ni sa spurs.. blow-out... i wish...
