gud day.for the info of everyone,GSD's (along with malamutes) are breeds that are affected by PITUITARY DWARFISM/ACHONDROPLASIA.bsg nagtoo ang mga breeders that are able to produce this in their line na "TOY GSD" ni,kay mao raba na kadaghanan dri just to add an 'catchy' words for marketing gimmicks,i've heard 'princess' shih tzus,'micro' minipins,etc.anyway,dwarfed GSD's do not obviously grow @ a normal rate,even their puppy coats are retained...& they die young.nakakita ko ani 3 yrs ago from a so called "breeder" from the south,gamay jud cya about 10 inches in height then iyang eyes kay lobular murag chihuahua ug expression.it actually died of distemper kay weak clag immunity bsag nabakunahan.this is actually genetic by nature so i advised the "breeder" to research the lines of the dog's he used then once identified,ispay na o ineuter.hope it enlightens ur quiry.ty

Yes, this is true that dwarfism is a common disorder for dogs most specifically in GSD breeds. This is an abnormal result for inadequate production of growth hormone in pituitary gland.


But I just want to clarify that there is no such breed like a Toy GSD.
