pagka dali.a ra i just bought my 500d last november, nya naa na ang 550d. hahay
if mag change man gani ko sa future i'd rather go for 5Dm2, 7D or 1Dm4. hehehe
Mura man ug nokia paspas kaayu mo update ug model... sensor size kaha ani? considering gipatas-an ang mp?
napalit nako akong 500D pag last dec. ra then release naman sad 550D..
No need for Canon to stop making new models... It's the photographers themselves who should stop upgrading even if they recently bought a dSLR just a few months ago...
I have a friend na professional photographer, some of his photos were bought and published in National Geographic Magazine and CNN and yet he still uses a Canon 350D. (Although mu upgrade jud siya ug full frame if naay budget but at least wala nag cge upgrade akong migo from 350D to 400D to 1000D to 450D to 500D, etc..etc..)
...
A few months from now, I'm getting a dSLR for sure. I was about to buy a 500d kung naay wawart but this one made me think twice
Reading from the comments here, What's a good camera to go to a higher tier other than 550d but on a price range closer to the 550d?
me too...im a newbie and dont know wat to buy. im torn between nikon and canon. unsay nice? maybe you can share ur ideas.
just buy that'll fit your needs
6.5fps or more is great if you are into sports or wildlife, if you are more of a still shooter/landscape/long exposure shooter you wont need a fast fps.
i'm happy with my 500D since I'm not using the video often I invested more on the Lens though , 550D is great if you're a videographer rather than the 7D video.
for me full frame(5dmk2) is worth the upgrade
