I would like to share what I do before and after taking the photograph.
Before taking the photograph (camera profile is set to Adobe or AdobeRGB, never sRGB):
1. measure the intended white balance based on the light around the subject. I use a while balance disc cap covering the lens to take a custom while balance reading.
2. Remeasure the white balance when there's a significant change in lighting, otherwise, keep it that way for the rest of the shoot.
After the taking the photograph ( I save all photographs in RAW; Bibble workspace profile is set to Adobe) :
1. Copy the RAW photograph in a temporary folder on the computer (I'm using Linux all the time).
2. Using Bibble, import all photographs from the temporary folder to a permanent location so that they are sorted by year and date.
3. Use Bibble to correct for exposure, highlight and shadow recovery if there's a need.
4. Sharpening is left default as set in bibble (100 value - an all around value).
5. A custom batch Output can be created to send out jpeg files (at 100% quality) for printing, web (95% quality) and other desired medium. Profiles are usually converted to sRGB for printing (Fuji printer) and web display.
I no longer use a graphics editor 99.99% of the time when post processing photographs.
