Dunno if you believe in this but cooling the ram chips doesnt help increase its lifespan or overclocking potential, infact cooling the core can increase ram overclock, its been discussed on serveral forums, but if you want it for aesthetics i prefer to have the individual ram siks but the 1 plat has a much bigger surface area

Cooling RAM chips does increase overclocking potential, but only if they're Copper RAMSinks, like Thermaltake or Swiftech ones. But if they're aluminum, not much of a difference at all.

Nope it wont, Maski pure silver pana or phase change cooling ( -35c ) it wont. Cooling the core gives an overall better OC.cheers, but i do believe that cooling the mem can potentially increase its lifespan

I want to see you setup, that's going to be crazy. Right now, I'm hooking up my compt o my 50". Having a little trouble with overscanning but should be great. Resolution is 1920x1080P at 60HZ (unlike the other HDTV's at 30HZ's, they don't look good with PC because of refresh rate and text problems)

I guess, since heat is lower. But what really helps is enhancing the memory timings (gives about 200 more points in 3DMark05 depending on how tight it is). Even though it's 10-15 mhz less, it's better.

I'm using a Samsung 50" DLP HDTV that supports 480i, 480P, 720P, 1080i, and of course 1080P. Great TV! I got my comp hookes up to it, but since I was using an adapter from my X800 XL to component, there was latency in the video timing, so I'm getting like 50 foot VGA cable.

Regarding what i said about the ramsink, 10mhz is not quite possible to obtain, the max a ramsink could do is 1~2mhz but on 99% of the cases no OC increase

Wala pa gi overclock or anything coz di ko kamao.

"rough" 3DMark2003 Benchmark Scores
4xFSAA 16xAnisotropic
1280x1024 = 5856
1024x768 = 7977

Got F.E.A.R. running at average 25-40fps. Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter running at high settings with no probs.

This was after I set it up. Pardon the lower score since I was running other programs in the background. I had problems with the driver. I'm planning to reinstall because ang settings nag migrate gikan P4 nako.
