    i beg to disagree na sayon ra ka sulod ug placement sa saudi. kay ug sayon pa nakalarga na siguro ming mga nurses na walay trabaho. daghan requirements ron ang kinahanglan una makasulod ug trabaho sa Saudi.
    lisod na jud ang mga RN's sa Pinas...naa na pud puno sa requirements...pero nag appeal ang migrante to delay implementation...hopefully madelay jud, better if wala na lang...

    The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) Sunday reminded the public about the need to pass the “prometric” exam before one could work as a nurse in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.The nursing prometric exam is a required by the Saudi Council for Health Specialties for foreign nurses, the POEA said in an advisory posted on its website.The exam is similar to the licensure test for nurses given in the Philippines.

    The exam may be taken in KSA or in test venues in the Philippines.In the Philippines, the accredited testing center is Thomson Prometric, Ateneo Professional Schools, 130 H. Dela Costa St., Salcedo Village, Makati City.The examination is scheduled Tuesday up to Friday, with a fee of US$90. Applicants may visit the website: Prometric Services: Testing and Assessment.

    what cud have happen in the past that led them to decide to have this assessment be implemented. wonder lang ko if this has a relationship to what they call "half baked" results of our RNs (the massive production scheme of schools).

    not really coz it's not mandated to filipino nurses only but all foreign educated nurses seeking work in the middle east...competitive gihapon ang pinoy nurses, nagbago lang talaga sila ng guidelines...

    during this difficult time for nurses whether old or new...think it this way nalang "this too shall pass" matud pa nila!!!

    ambot sa uban countries pero sa Australia ug New Zealand... maglisod pa register ang mga 2nd courser na nurses. unya dapat with at least 1 year hospital experience.

    i dont think mo discriminate ang NZ and Australia because the applicant is a 2nd courser? wer did u get that information? i havent read that on their application forms. ang experience mo matter hinoon ky usa man sa imo requirements na mo submit ka ug letter of competence from ur job or exposure.

    but nursing as a 2nd course, they never said anything. i submitted to australia and i am a 2nd courser for which i declared it in my application. wudnt this be an advantage instead?
