Actually, its a point and shoot cam apparently it has DSLR features.
I call my lumix my little p/s dslr.

sirs would you advice this camera for a newbie?
the only experience i know with cameras are just point and shoot
or also my cellphone cam

im interested in learning some techniques but DSLR i think is too much ( too expensive pud )

Yes! Lumix is highly recommended to newbie. Actually, even prof photog has this lumix cam coz of its portability, dslr features and it has leica lens (Japan made) that makes your shots awesome.
