anything about eating healty
let me start.. hehehe..
instead of eating simple carbohydrates like rice try eating complex carbohydrates like vegtables
utan
para nako anything basta balanced diet. complete with complex carb, protein, vitamins and fiber rich food like fruits and veggies.
kong dili gyud mo ganahan ug utan... eating fruits will do...
try to avoid refined sugar! read label on food very very carefuly.. it might say low or no fat but the sugar content is high
here are some reasons to avoid refined sugar
Refined sugar can be a contributing factor to gaining body fat
Refined sugar can increase the bad LDL cholesterol
Refined sugar can decrease the good LDL cholesterol
Refined sugar can increase triglycerides
Refined sugar can suppress your immune system
Refined sugar can deplete your body of important minerals
Refined sugar can contribute to the development of numerous types of cancer
Refined sugar can cause hypoglycemia
Refined sugar can decrease growth hormone
Refined sugar can contribute to diabetes
Refined sugar can cause food allergies
Refined sugar can increase serum insulin
eating healthy.. read the label properly
don't depend too much on the "nutrition facts" found in label, you should also check the ingredients.. for example it may say low or no fat.. but loaded with sugar.. or if they say low or no sugar usually there's a substitue in form of usually corn syrup
total calories = carbohydrates x 4 + protein x 4 + fat X 9
eat less, chew more.
avoid as much as possible eating anything with preservatives..
no nos for me are the following:
- sugar ( especially sodas)
- hydrogenated fat
- too much salt on canned stuff
also enriched flour, go for whole wheat insteadOriginally Posted by Gwynhuever
