There is nothing to be alarmed about this unusual discharge, there are several fish which some people are not accustomed in eating so their body are not also used to the excess oil it contains. This is a normal reaction to our body to food that contains alot of oil. Oil in a fish are very rich in Omega 3 and are actually helpful to our body. But if taken in excess it wil surely flush or remove it via the easiest passage and that is the GIT.Unless it will go out in another outlet let say through your urine now you can say this is serious stuff and you need medical help right away. My advice is if you do not want to have this unusual discharge and still want to eat marlin fish try to eat food very high in fiber so that it may absorb some of the excess oil that the body doesn't need. Or if it's okay for you not to eat it then try to look for another kind of fish.

diri ra man sad na sa cebu gitawag na white marlin... they put the marlin word to make it sound expensive...
but if you will look sa fish mismo, in no way na marlin cya, mura cya og dako na butete..

in mindanao, they called it pinyahon ..kay ang isda lingin og porma na murag pinya ang iyang scales...

i once went to balingasag and some folks there called it "igit igit" , guess why...

If you go to Lapu lapu market , they even labeled it Blue Marlin...

steatorrhea bitaw tawag ana... daghan pod mga tawo ako kaila na ingon ana... ma kuyawan lang mo ni ana kung it happens many times a year... another factor contributing to this condition kai imo body dili kaau maka digest and absorb sa fat (especially sa white marlin)... dili lang gud fish ang culprit, pwede sad kanang pork belly ay... bisan pag isugba, dili preto...

i agree with u raddiboy. if u don't know what a true blue marlin or white marlin looks it, u'll be fooled. my brod told me about this kind of fish, it taste like blue marlin but the effect after eating it is that u'll surely pooh.... and it's wet and oily. its not good to eat this fish.
