Default Baywalk Bodies plan to sue Cebu Pacific ABS-CBN

MANILA, Philippines – Members of all-female group Baywalk Bodies are threatening to file a lawsuit against budget airline Cebu Pacific.

Their camp is blaming Cebu Pacific for the cancelation of their scheduled shows in Cebu City after the girls missed their flight last January 15.

As early as one o’clock in the morning noong January 15, nando’n na kami sa airport para makapag-check in nang maaga.”

Up until now, the Baywalk Bodies are still fuming about the incident, De Guzman said. Some of them even got depressed, he added.

The group, who performs mostly sexy songs, is composed of Annalyn Abad, Zest Zuniega, Wella Williams, Rejoice Rivera, Pantene Palanca, Palmolive Palma, Michaela Espinosa, Lyna Liveste, Kissa Kurdi, Jeanette Joaquin, Dove De Vera, Clarise Mercado, and Camay Cojuangco.

According to movie reporter Danny Batuigas, de Guzman’s official publicist, the girls are now threatening to sue Cebu Pacific.

When sought for reaction, Michelle de Guzman, a Corporate Communications staff of the airline, said her boss, Candice Iyog, is still out of the country. Cebu Pacific will issue an official statement only once she returns to Manila, according to her.

“Pero as far as I am concerned, the time of departure is clearly stated in the ticket and the plane leaves at that particular time,” she said. -Boy Villasanta, abs-cbnNEWS.com

for me, dili na sayup sa passengers ky ang sched is fixed jud na dapat. kung late cla sa sched indicated in their ticket then ila na sayup. its like an appointment of 5 pm then naabot ang party A ug 4 pm so nilakaw ra pud daun ky wala pa maabot ang party B. kinsa mana sala ron?

Why don't they say what time exactly they went to the boarding gate? If they came 4:05am and the plane is no longer there, then go ahead and sue the airlines.

the same exact thing happened to me even if i was already in line at the check-in counter 30 mins before the required time. so that is 1hour and 15 mins before departure because you have to be at the check-in counter 45 mins to 1 hr before departure.

CebuPac should get their act together.

, ingon ila manager na at 1am naa na sila sa airport but their departure time is still 4.30am so they are about 2-3 hours ahead of schedule..ang sayop nila ky wa sila mo check in dayon nag kumpyansa ra..had they checked in their baggages and tickets verified at check in counter...the airlines dispatch crew will notice it na naa pay wala ka board, naka check-in but wala naka board ky ila mana ma check. ex. naay total of 100 checked-in tickets, pero during boarding 95 ray na account so meaning naay 5 wala, basin nakatog or nalingaw tabi wa kabantay nag boarding na...i sige mana nila ug announce sa intercom, paging mr. blah blah, you are requested to proceed to the boarding gate.........., hangtod mo ingon last call for the passenger mr........, regarding sa ilang reason that the plane departed early..i doubt if the time difference dako kaayo, di pud tingali believable na 4.30 dep. time then mo nibiya ang plane 3.30, siguro around 20 mins or less from the dep. time siguro katuho-an..check in counters usually mo close na 45mins from dept. time..considering first flight pud gamay ra manakay..pag close sa check in counter, sugod dayon boarding nya gamay ra pasahero dali ra kaayo human. aw...most likely earlier than 4.30 the palne is ready to depart
