Another one: "BRING ME MY RED SHIRT"

Long ago, when sailing ships ruled the oceans, a captain and his crew were in danger of being boarded by a pirate ship. As the crew almost came to a state of panic, the captain called his first mate and said “BRING ME MY RED SHIRT!” The first mate quickly retrieved the captain’s red shirt, which the captain put on and led the crew to battle the pirate boarding party. Although some casualties occurred among the crew, the pirates were repelled.

Later that day, the lookout screamed that there were two pirate vessels sending boarding parties. The crew got scared, but the captain calm as ever shouted, “BRING ME MY RED SHIRT!” And once again the battle was on, and they again repelled the pirates, but they also had more casualties. They were so exhausted after the battle and they rested and talked about everything that happened.

One crew member asked, “Sir, why do you always call for your red shirt before the battle?” The captain said, “if I am wounded in battle, the red shirt will not show my wounds, so you men will continue to be brave and go on fighting." The crew member nodded and admired the captain’s courage.

Night passed, and when morning came, the lookout screamed that again, there were pirate ships, this time, there were 10 pirate ships. The men became silent and looked to the Captain, their leader, for his usual command. The captain, calm as ever ordered, “BRING ME MY BROWN PANTS!”
