my mom wants a guard dog since puro rami bayi sa house...
i was thinking na GSD
but i have two toy dogs..one toy poodle and a shipoo (i guess)
ok ra kaya GSD?
she wants a rott
i want a GSd
unsa ang best choice?![]()
well,as long as u can properly house, train & care such an active (& mostly) dominant breed/s,then either of the two will suit you for ur guard dog needs.study 1st these 2 breeds & properly (& honestly) evaluate urselves if u cn really make a suitable owner for such a powerful breed/s & not just rely on the 'want' factor (which most people here does),it can prove detrimental to both breeds later on in their lives....and much more to you coz an average untrained & spoiled rott or shepherd can do more damage to ur home than the average burglargudluck!
true jud ni sya mga sir.. if nahan jud mo ani nga mga breeds btter be ready, read more about them tanan mga connetd sa ilang breed and eval ur self if makaya bjud ninyo heheheh... gsd and rott's are nice pets and guard dogs djus ka mag mahay kung kabalo lang ka about nila heheheh.... gudluck..
sis,we used to own a GSD,when we were still in RP,versatility, intelligence, loyalty and the ability to do specialized work,no wonder he's dads fav..![]()
consider lng extra space, time, extra budget, also will to train(they're more happier when working on something)
you have a point there, but does that (highlighted words I emphasized) really have to be there? that is an understatement.
sori for being skeptic,(used to be a psych student here)your gudluck is virtually identical
considering the short time to back his statements
peace!

sad but true..but yes it needs to be there just to serve as a 'reminder'...with due respect miss,& not to step on the value of ethical conduct & ur experience, dog's are my life...especially these 2 breeds,i breed, train & do alot of public 'works' & education about them....i've seen a lot more than u think--rotts & gsd's being brought in by most owners for wrong reasons..coz its a trend, its cute, etc. & untrained & uninvolved these dog's come to the point wherein they are big enough to pull them or has behavioral issues, they put them in cages or advertise it somewhere that their dog's are for adoption or for sale, etc.i did not name 'names' miss,so as long as some owners do their wrong deeds...then u'll always see the 'reminder' above that needs to 'there'....coz trust me,its not an understatement![]()
