I've tried DIY waxing on my legs once. Okay ra ang result; kaso lang, gikapoy ko pag human. Hehe. Dugay2x sad ko nahuman ato on my own. It was my first time to experience waxing of any kind, so gi-career jud nako. Karon, I prefer to have it done professionally kay gi-tapulan na ko gud. I was delighted when I heard LayBare opened a branch here. I've heard good reviews in their Manila branch, and I wanted to see for myself if truly effective jud sila.

Akong amiga kay nagpa-wax in this salon somewhere near CDH. Nalimot ko sa name. Kita lang mi sa sign saying they offer waxing services, so we went in. Hot wax ilang gamit. The staff who attended to us even said Epilin ilang gamit. Although I have tried waxing, I've never tried having it done in a salon. I went with my friend inside the cubicle so I could see how the salon people do it (by the way, ang underarms ang ipa-wax sa akong friend). So there I sat, watching the whole procedure while my friend had her underarms waxed. Sad to say, the whole thing (with the salon concerned lang ha, and not the salons in general) failed to meet my expectations. Wala gitarong sa attendant ang pag wax. There was the typical press, rub, and pull procedure pero dili limpyo pagkabuhat. I don't get it. There were some hairs left which I'm pretty sure can be waxed off, but the staff chose to tweeze it instead. Lisod na daw makuha if i-wax, but I swear those remaining hairs were of sufficient length para i-wax off. Oh, well. My friend wasn't too happy with the service they offered as well. Maayo pa daw gi-ibot na lang niya kay mao ra daw storyaa.

Anyway, I'll recommend Lay Bare and Carlo Reyes to my friend since she leaves within the vicinity lang man.

Kapoy bitaw mag wax sa legs, sis. Haha. Once ra gani ko naka-suway, pero di na ko ganahan mubalik kay makaluya!
