* Seattle Grunge drummers are awesome but my favorite drummer is not a grunger but still he's from Seattle. I've always have a hard time figuring out drum riffs of Scott Rockenfield. I've seen the home video of Queensryche's "Promised Land" which featured two of my favorite drummers, Scott and Dream Theater's Mike Portnoy. DT being a progressive band sometimes bores me. Mike is centered on all the progressions in the band. Petrucci, Rudess and Myung is dependent on Portnoy's pattern. Third on this list is Slaughter's Blas Elias, he appeared as the drummer on the worthless movie of Mark Wahlberg's "Rockstar". And it's sad that only Glam people are familiar about Blas. Matt Cameron outstanding offbeat patterns maybe influenced by Kim Thayil and Ben Shepard during the Soundgarden era. But by the time he'd joined Pearl Jam, he became one of the worthless drummers. And last but not definitely the least. There's no other one-hand drummer in the world. Rick Allen was part of the curse of Def Leppard. The Hysteria album marked the start of the stand-out sound of Def Leppard coz it's all because of the ThunderGod Rick Allen.
