Hey, the last thing I want to do is mock a religion. Any religion for that matter.

My funny posts are just my way of telling people to not to take things too seriously.

Because, you know what they call people who take their religion too seriously? The events of September 11 clearly show that when devotion becomes obsession, bad things can happen. Islam was not, and never was a religion that promoted violence, but these men were fanatics who took things too seriously and inadvertently tarnished the reputation of their religion.

The same goes for Christianity. Although the religion is composed of honest and well-meaning people, there exists within their ranks bad seeds. These were the people who believed that the Jews, as a race, were responsible for Deicide (and if you don't know what that means, look it up) which inadvertently led to the rise of Adolf Hitler and the Holocaust.

These same kinds of people were responsible for the atrocities during the Crusades of the Middle Ages, which planted the seeds of conflict in the Middle East, whose ramifications are still felt today.

Believe what you want to believe and believe it well. But never combine faith with the feeling that you are better than everyone else or you end up becoming what you preach against.
