8wr means hold the joystick in that direction instead of just tapping it in that direction.
lets say i tap forward plus attack, that would result in a normal attack, now if i hold forward AND attack, a different attack will come out depending on the character.
uhh....SC DR? naa diay?
go to www.soulcalibur.com for more info on learning the SC system, espcially sa 8WR, visit the forums
8WR basically is the direction of the joypad directional button

5 being neutral,
lets say u want to execute Forward, forward +B(Vertical)
so you press, 66B
some of your moves can be adapted sa 8WR, so thats why that system is adpated versus to tekken's traditional forward(F), Downward(D) system. then there's Move Buffering, another gameplay element when mixed can really turn the tide of battle i.e. Ivy's Criminal Symphony executed w/o being obvious.
you'll learn more about if you play enough.
@vanceloma
bro i think he meant SC:AE(arcade edition) kay bago ramani ni gawas sa SM gud
sayop tingali na...ang DR ako nahibaw-an kay sa tekken ra![]()
mas kuyaw!!! scdr. hahahahhah!!!
hehe, abi gyud nako naay SC DR, AE diay hehe
