@ Ma'm Stacy and lyle dude, can you give me some tips in handfeeding? I think i'll try to handfeed some of my nearly hatched albs2. Ayaw lang ni bag o na hatch kron kay daw hi-m, hehe. Like where to keep them, mixture of cereleac and volume to feed, how often do we feed them, how to keep them away from ants, how to keep them warm, etc...... Thanks..

Kumpyansa ra gyud ko kaayo. I think it's the 3rd time nga nakabuhi ako bird thru cage screen biting.. I'll be disposing that old wooden cage. Or maybe replace the screens with the thicker one. Ang ako gi atang atangan nga pair pa gyud ang nakabuhi....Waaaaaaahhhhhhh..

Hi,

I have a 7 lovebirds caged in a 1.2m (W) X 2m (L) X 1.2m (H) screened caged. I followed as what the dealer told me nga ang ila itloganan is cut an old coconut in half, remove the shell & e uli pag tabon den buhuan ug about 2" diameter and ibitay sa upper portion sa tangkal. I did this and in fact naa koy existing nga 6 ka ingnani nga type nga nest.

I fed them alternately with dawa seeds, carrots, kangkong, pitchay, cabbage ug panagsa apples (dili pinalit kung di mga pinili-an nga mga lata, hinatag sa akong amigo nga fruit vendor), sliced bread.

Ang akong problema is that mahibong ko why dili magitlog adto sud sa lubi kung dili sa sawg og nangitlog ba kaha sa sud and gi hagbung sa ubos. Basta ang tanan itlog naa na sa sawg sa tangkal. Last nako nga limpyo kay nakakuha kog 11 ka itlog.

My question is, ngano ingnani man ang behaviour sa akong lovebirds? do i have to build a nestbox such as this? Breeding Lovebirds A Beginner's Guide - Nestboxes

I know daghan ngari nka experience ug ingnani. please help kay hasta akong kids mi ingun na nga mao ra kuno ni lovebirds nga wa mag luv sa iyang mga eggs.

hello. Maka putol d i na sila sa screen?? ka ng gamay nga screen mga half inch ang size. akong cage ingana ra baya den wood ang frame. maka putol sila ana??

akong albs1 gi tunga in half ang perch nila nga kawayan. nkaron wala na jud.

better post a pic of your cage and the position of the nests para makatabang mi maam... Sa experience sa mga aviary type breeder of parakeets aka lovebirds, kinahanglan ilagyo nimo ang mga nests nga lubi from each other... kung sikit nimo pagbutang sa enclosure, mag-ilog sila sa usa ra kabuok mao na the other hen who wants to lay eggs iya ipangtagak ang eggs sa iyang ka competensiya...

that's the problem with community type breeding, check if you have pairs gyud if not that's what you get, also infighting occurs later on basin magpatay na imo mga birds..

javs, same problem with me before now i have tried to use mostly cages designed after manila cages..

by the way CAS is now selling cages like mla cages any size and design you want... ang 17x30 collapsible kay Php 900.00 only

tnx a lot for the reply. tom na ang pics ky ngit2x na pag abot nko sa balay. Before i go to work ganina, ako na gpakuha ang mga lubi. 1 nalang nhabilin ky naay itlog 2 kbouk. Yup, nag linya gyud ang mga lubi on 1 side. nagpahimo nako ug nest like this one Breeding Lovebirds A Beginner's Guide - Nestboxes., basin mahuman ugma. 1pc. on each corners, 4 tanan.

I think he means sure pairs na imo i butang sa cage for colony breeding. Like, before nimo sila usahon sa big cage, pares na sila daan.

I started breeding parakeets also in colony. Dako dako sad gyud ako cage nya daghan pud kaayo ug coconut nests and nestboxes.Mostly I put breeding pairs already nya naa pud singles nga nag start to pair pa. Daghan man gud nests so wala gyud sila mag ilog... My colony breeding went well, until I upgraded to ALBS breeding.. I dispose all my keets together with the big cage in package.

Basta medyo daan na imo screen kaya na nila kittkiton.. That's what happened to my cage here. Even sa bag o nga screen kaya ghapon nila kitkiton. Balik balikan ra na nila until mga putol gyud. The wood frame? Anam anamon ra pud na nila ug kitkit hangtod mahurot, although it'll take a while... My flight cage is made of wood, ang sulod gi sigehan na ug kitkit. But I think taud2 pa ni ug lifespan. Ang screen ini gilibot from side to side. So even if maguba ang frame dili pa sila makagawas. Ang problema ra gyud kung ma buslot ang screen... tsk, tsk, tsk.. Much better kadto na lang gyud collapsible cages ang gamiton or if maghimo ka ug imo kaugalingon, kadto na lang gyud kina bag an nga screen gamiton.
