What is a Chromomium OS or should i say Google Chrome OS?

It is still a linux kernel under the hood, with optimized setup on top of it for web applications.
Similar to what apple did on bsd, what's on top of it is a really nice package of applications with pleasing graphical user interface. This is a nice example of open source development, anyone can develop something nice of top of something for a better user interface and usability, no need to go back from scratch.

I've been playing around with it on my VMware. I don't know how to properly describe it really. It's like a browser that you can't minimize. It does work. And it's perfect for people who not only spends a lot of time on the internet, but uses a lot of the Google web apps as well.
