dili ka bayaran... as what is stated in the contest rules #10 and i qoute:

"jollibee reserves the right to own and use for sales and marketing purposes all photos for the contest"

that's why i said ginancya ang jollibee..

in the real sense this is actually not right as i have read in a mag. as this would present an avenue for companies to save on marketing their products. they would just organize a photo contest and then have this rule... and then there you go instant advertising item for them. which in a sense would save them a lot of money instead of hiring a professional photog to shoot ads for them.

20k wont hurt that much if you could save more than that amount for advertising...

if you would dig deeper on this contest, there's actually no clear and distinct rules and guidelines for submission of entries. as long as you can follow rule number one which comprise most of the next rules.. then you're good to go...

but i ask myself ganahan ko if ang ako pics magamit w/o due compensation? maski acknowledgment lang?

dili na kinhanglan ang jollibee mag pa photo contest just to make ganancya bro.
jollibee is in top 5 sa highest earning corporations sa nasud.
It is also SOP to place that rule #10 para wala samok tungod kay duna daghan tawo mangita ra gyud ug bikil
even if the contest itself is done in good faith butangan gyud ug malisya.
Kaon lang ka libre na imo entry.
It is tiring, time consuming and will also entail expense to sort, and choose the winning entries.
pareho ra gasto if mo hire sila ug advertising company which duna na sila retained for the whole year.

Sinulog Foundation earned 650 x 2000 entries = 1.3M
shelling out only a few Thousand bucks for the winners. That's big ganancya bisag wala negosyo.
