Sa sulod sa combustion chamber at operating engine temperature, init na ang carbon diha - reactive state na sya, inig makakita na ug water vapor or water steam mo react dayon na which will improve the combustion process sa primary fuel na hydrocarbon.
Kung mugamit ka ug tubig as supplemental fuel, ang pinakasayon nimo nga mahimo mao ang pag pasulod sa water vapor(bubbling water) or water steam (heating water around sa exhaust pipe) sa imong engine then feed it sa intake manifold under vacuum. We don't need any liquid going in sa combustion chamber, ang kinahanglan nato vapor form ra.
Someone already did a spark plug type device with holes sa tunga aron makaagi ang water but before sya makagawas from the spark plug device gi subject una sya ug certain voltage and frequency aron mabungkag ang tubig into its hydrogen and oxygen components. Inig lusot, wala nay water mahabilin, hydrogen ug oxygen nalang waiting for ignition.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the improvement in combustion process is because the water makes the air denser around the intake manifold, and therefore combustion is more efficient?
The early Boeing 747 models had water methanol boost for heavy takeoffs using this principle.

Good question. Taking the example of the locomotive, we clearly see that it doesn't only run on water/steam--you need coal to heat up the furnace so that the steam gets created in the boiler, making the train's piston system move the train's wheels. Yet, we do not call a locomotive a "coal engine". We call it a steam engine, because the steam technology is recent, it's newer than a coal-fired furnace, which has been around for centuries. Thus, using this example, your car will be a nuclear-powered car, simply because nuclear power is a more recent technology compared to steam power. This is how I see it.

Other than steam, naka kuha ka ug additional boost from the formation of combustible gases like CO (carbon monoxide) and H (hydrogen).
Time will come mura na ug gi espalto ang top sa imong piston. This will not happen kung naay water component as part of your fuel. Mas cleaner pud ang imong engine oil and will last a little longer since wala may daghang carbon mahabilin after combustion.
Kini nga setup karon, water is used as supplemental fuel only. However, pwede na nimo himoon nga supplemental fuel nalang pud ang gasoline later kung ma process nimo ug maayo ang hydrocarbon vapor and water vapor before na nimo ihungit with air didto sa makina.
