Hi Guys!

Pde ba mangayo og idea about sa Fingerprint scanner..unsa ang flow ani?kya ba ni maintegrate sa vb.net?Unsang brand sa fingerprint? og unsa ang mga requirements n kelangan?

Actually, this is our thesis and we are planning to make a payroll system w/ the use of fingerprint scanner as their way of logging in and logging out.

If you have any experience in making a system like this one, please help me guys..

Any reference like websites, e-books, etc. is highly appreciated...!

Bro. sa akong na try Java raba to ug C++. I don't know if naa bay mga SDK's na mu help nimo sa fingerprint scanner. Kailangan jud VB.NET imo gamit? Opensource ta bro. hehehe. =)

Bro, nahimo nba nimo iintegrate ang fingerprint scanner sa c++ or java? Unsa iyng source code??

Bro, here (company I am presently working) we have a U.R.U. 4500 Fingerprint reader, bought (Manila around 15K, 3 years ago, but now mura'g 8K-10K na lang ni cya) it together with its SDK. I was also able to develop a Bio Entry (Log-in/Log-out) for the company. The problem is VB6 ang SDK apil sa package sa Bio Hardware. So VB6 ra ako available diri.

I wanted to develop pod ug an update ani (Bio Entry Program) using vb.net namo but busy pako sa lain project pod. Until now wa pako kita ug SDK for .Net aning U.R.U. 4500.

kaya ra kaayo na himuon sa Vb.net kay naa mana dala nga sdk, bag-o lng sad ko nahuman buhat sa payroll system sa among office with the use of digital persona fingerprint reader. be careful lng sa sdk nga imong gamiton kay currently naa duha ka sets ang sdk sa digital persona and dili compatible ang fp template sa usa ka sdk sa lain nila nga sdk.

you can use fp scanner with java, vb6, vb.net or c++. as long as you have the sdk. i use digital persona scanners coz i think its the cheapest. just google their sdk. source codes are included with their sdk...
