You're not forced to vote to get the BC. What we're requiring you is to register in COMELEC so you can get your Barangay Clearance. Before the elections, you will get your Voter's ID which is what you need to have a Barangay Clearance.

I don't have VOTER'S ID yet I still able to get barangay clearance and even passport, BIR, Police clearance ....etc. I only equip with my Postal ID I get from the City Hall. hahahahaha
I would encourage my friends to get Postal ID, which is you can present it around.

For my personal reference, it's too bothersome to vote corrupt officials almost all of them.

How can they force you to get a voters ID and vote, just to get a barangay clearance and enroll for school? Is this a democracy or not?

In a democracy, people are not forced to vote. Whats going on?
No Voter's ID = no barangay clearance or enrollment? Thumbsdown for that First if they are going to implement that they should provide the Voter's ID as soon as possible. Unsa man hitabo-a karon nga dugay man kaayo na nila maRelease? Sa giingon pa sa barangay sa ako gf ngad2 nya, 4-5years pa daw maAvailable ang iya ID. Bisag sa ako, 3years una naAvailable. Don't tell me, magHuwat sa og 4-5 years una makaWork? (1 na sa requirement ang barangay clearance.) Plus, naa pa mga walay voter's ID bisag og nakaRegister na as voter. Like sa ako mom, gDungan jud mi register, but unsa man hitabo-a nga wala man xa tagai og ID. Wala kuno pic ako mom. How come nga gPicturan man tanan nagRegister ato nga time? Mao ni ako point, it's a big thumbs down if giimplement ni.

We are not forced to vote, but it is our duty to vote. It is our duty to choose who are the people that will govern our country.
