I don't even think that's moral and decent. I don’t even think morality or decency is in his vocabulary. In case you didn't know, even if all the money is spent w/o kickbacks, using City Hall funds to shore up his candidacy already has legal and moral implications.
Let's just say he is already counting the chicks (SRP) before they hatch and takes full responsibility of using the 600M as long as he will not increase taxes. I think that is why he is going after hospitals and schools not paying the right taxes. Let's say he is playing politics on this one, at least he has the decency to take accountability for it, UNLIKE THE PROVINCE.

What do you expect? In the Philippines, anything negative hurled against a politician is always gossip.

Do you think Tomas will expose this even without anything on paper just to spite Gwen? People in this level know what they know and have their sources, this is a serious allegation. If the Garcias doesn't think this is true, then let them sue Tomas. But I bet they won't, kay magka bonbon unya ilang nawong. Ngano man? Because they know IT IS TRUE kung magbinukinga'y na.

Personal credibility-wise and from personal experience in dealing with both of them, I find Tomas more credible than Gwen. Mas na'ay aksyon, si Gwen puro ra satsat ug photo-ops.

It's all about belief. Politics is a game of influencing belief.

Even about the lamp post controversy, you can believe if Radaza is guilty or not. Some people don't believe he's guilty so they voted for him again to office...even if verifiable facts on the case are zeroing in on him.

now back to the topic, whom are you gonna believe in? Tomas saying GSIS invested in Lehman brothers or otherwise?
that's philippine politics. it doesnt necessary follow nga if cya ang nka daog sa election ky cya jd ang deserving. der r lots of factors... esp kng naa ky gahum og kwarta. diba?

at least if imo i-compare si tomas and gwen...

-if kurakot c tomas, mas kurakot c gwen.
-if patagong nangawat c tomas, harap2xang nangawat c gwen.

Business Mirror - A broader look at today's business - Headlines

"In contrast, GSIS trumpeted last year a global investment program (GIP) that would invest $1 billion of members’ money overseas. Demand to account for the status of this program rose this week amid reports that the pension fund’s money was invested in Lehman Brothers and American International Group (AIG), two of Wall Street’s fallen giants."

Outrage. That's what I feel right now. Even if half ra na invest, that $500-$h!t-Million(pardon my language). Gi invest pagyud nila sa gawas. Why not invest it here in the Philippines at least we know what's happening or ni sulod rapud balik sa mga bursa sa mga pinoy.

Bang-Bang-Boom!!! That's what I wanna hear when I see Winston on the news.
I'll never be able to make even 1/1000th of the amount in my entire lifetime even if I work hard.

Giddyboy likes to pretend that we have no right to criticize Gwen unless we have solid proof and unless she has been convicted in a court of law. He forgets the fact that some of us might actually know Gwen better than him. Since he consistently denies that he has any links to the Garcias, then we might presume that he knows absolutely nothing about them and if we consider that some forumers here might be close enough to Gwen either through personal business dealings or because they know somebody very close to her, then he has already lost the credibility war.

So it's a catch-22 situation for Giddyboy. On the one hand, he could never admit that he is connected to the Garcias, and that he is on their payroll as that would automatically solidify the already strong suspicion that he is a pro-Garcia lackey with no credibility on this thread. In essence, it will be the final nail in the coffin of the thing called Giddyboy's reputation. On the other hand, since he denies any links to the Garcias, he has no first-hand knowledge at all regarding their activities and reputation as a family, something which a lot of forumers who belong to that social circle would have more direct knowledge of, and hence are better positioned to comment on any corruption allegations than he could.

    Summary: He loses, we win.
