Is a passport and drivers license not a legal document?
Cool, more people without education and a job in future! What a government is this?

You can't teach old dogs new tricks. Not unless the old dogs learn new tricks by themselves. Like I said, dugay na nang requirement ang V-ID when you're requesting a Barangay Clearance. Panahon pa siguro nang Marcos. Some Barangays do not follow this policy but hey, its their barangay, no one cares. They can implement their own rules.

We require a Voter's ID because mao ni ang nasabotan sa Barangay Council. Although angal gyud ko ani nga move instead of valid IDs because maka-langay gyud sa mokuha ug Clearance, ang akong kontra kay mga "OLD DOGS" man. So ila pud na, my vote for a decision was overrun. Another thing why they require a Voter's ID is that duol ra sa Comelec ang among lugar. Malakaw ra gani. One last problem is that gamay ra ang mobotar ug magparehistro sa among lugar, and we encourage everyone to vote.

Don't want to vote? fine, no barangay clearance for you. You are given the chance to vote so you can pick the most favorable candidate for you (in which you think you can make a change) yet dili ka. Nya bisag wala ka mo-botar, mo-reklamo dayon sa barangay officials bla-bla-bla infact you have no right to complain because you haven't voted (let it be in any place). But since daghan mang wala naka-rehistro tungod sa deadline, we give considerations to everyone in getting a Barangay Clearance.

EDIT: The Third Paragraph is not pointed to OP. Basin ma misinterpret.

Hehe, I did not think you wanted to apply the 3rd. paragraph to my concern
I myself do not have any issue getting a barangay clearance, without voters ID, why? Because I am foreigner

I just don't find it fair to force people to get a voters ID, even they do not like to vote or register, but they like to go to school and have a job later! This corrupt government is killing their own future tax payer.

Anyway, this is MY view of this. Other might think different about it.

unsaon na lang ang mga dili taga Cebu ani nya wa pa karegister.. samut na ang bag-o pa niregister sa ila province nya wa pay voter's id.. igo ra nibalhin sa Cebu for work, then if pakuhaon ug barangay clearance nya way id ug pangutan-on pa jud ug unsa na kadugay gapuyo sa ila barangay, mahatagan pa ba kaha?

Kalain gud ana noh? Pugsanay diay. Naa man gud times nga kinahanglan gyud ka ani nga document pero wala gyud ka plano muboto. Kay hasol hasol lang and wala man gihapon mapili. So tinood gyud cguro diay na ilang giingon, wala gyud diay tarong nga democracy ang philippines even though wala kay tao nga gitamakan (or democracy sa lain tao nga imu gihilabtan) kung wala kay voters ID. pwera nalang cguro sa politiko nga nanginahanglan sa imung boto and...... "fill in the blanks"
