hi first time mom here. have some questions lng.

1. at how many months did you start giving solid food/cerelac/gerber to your baby? unsa man maau i hatag first? my mom said rice lng. my baby is going 5 months

2. why man mag cge spit out ug milk ako baby. murag semi suka gani (du-ay man amo term)? how to prevent that? is it because of the bottle she's using?

3. what to apply sa mga mosquito bites?

4. dli cya mg poopoo everyday. her pedia says ok ra daw.?

1. give your baby food at six months ... to prepare his/her little tummy ... you can try cerelac or gerber ... give your baby one food at a time .. if you want to try new food, give it 3 days after the first food.

2. normal rra ang dul-ay sa baby. sometimes kung ma press ang tummy sa baby or daghan ra kaau milk iyang nainom mag dul-ay jud ...

3. you can try petroleum jelly for mosquito bites

4. let your baby drink water kung dili ka popo .. helps regulate bowel movement .. kung nag constipate basin sa milk .. just consult your pedia ...

1. 6 months old... plain lugaw, yaw timplahi, mashed vegetables (potatoes, carrots), mashed fruits (saging tundan)

2. wala cguro na cya nimo gi pa burp after niya drink s yang milk. ipa burp na cya. patudlo s imong mama kung unsaon.

3. as much as possible, yaw lang na hilabti, then kung katlan jud imong baby, i gloves lang na cya.. petroleum jelly is good... mas maayo nga mg over-all imong baby kung mo sleep para d paakon ug insects...

4. usually babies like s imong anak nga age, 3 times a day na cla mo poop... basin d kau ka mohatag niya ug fluids... mailhan na nimo if ang dila s imong baby kay naay puti2... or s iyang milk, wa na cya kauyon.

*** start at 6 months like cerelac at first, then a week try another flavor..then you may want to mash some squash, potatoes then you will add fruits like mango, avocado, hard boiled egg

*** i think you cannot prevent that coz a baby's tummy is still very small so oftentimes mogawas gyud na sya and that is perfectly normal. that is why you help your baby to burp.

3. what to apply sa mga mosquito bites?

*** there are natural lotions out there for mosquito bites. but if you don't like to apply such lotions, better use a mosquito net.

*** same as you i was worried before when my baby didn't poop in a day. but i think pooping every other day is ok. but if it will run for 2 or 3 days without pooping then something might be wrong - like milk or whatever. i have some friends who gave their baby's yoghurt for an easy poop - just consult your pedia also.

..pediatricians advice giving solids to baby at 6 mos. but i started giving mine at 5 mos..
..normal ra na ang spitting of little amt. of milk, jst be sure na ipa-burp nimu c baby after every feeding
..mosquito bites,i forgot unsay name sa ointments but try sa pharmacy murg naa man na
..normal ra for baby not to poop everyday if the baby is into formula..but if breastfed exclusively and not yet into solids,everyday gyd ang poop ana...some formulas are constipating man gud unlike breastmilk...
..trust ur pedia's advice lng sis..

thank you guys. btw, my auntie g taga an niya breadsticks ako baby pag new year. wa jud ko kbw kay ni lakaw ko. pag balik nko ng gunit na nya ng cge kit2. hehehhee.

i gave her earth's best sa healthy options but d cya gnahan. ako nlng cya g taga an kay ma luoy ko cge tutok namo kung manga on mi. pag give nko cerelac gnahan ra sad cya.

i think it's ok. i think it doesn't matter what bottle you use as long as BPA free. i recommend BPA free bottles.
