Anyway... here's a statement from coach johnson on the Spurs:

"We're not 20 points better than the Spurs," Johnson said. "They're the champions. One win by a team in the Western Conference semifinals doesn't mean anything's been taken away from them."

Can you imagine the Spurs lineup? Its like an All Star team. Duncan, Ginobili, Parker, Horry, Finley, Van Exel, Brent Barry! Whew.Â*

I dont think van exel is balimbing, the mavs dont need him anymore now that they have Jason Terry, younger and more explosive than the aging nick van exel.........si Finley siguro....... but we cant blame him ........ the guy wants to win a championship and the spurs is the toughest team right now.............in his mavs days, together with nash they were always short handed knowing nga grabe kalisod ila opponents sauna Sacramento Kings........

they have the chance sa 2003 when they went against the spurs but lost in 6.......partida ang spurs ato kay injured si dirk........
ka remember pa gyud ko ato pag game 6 it was a very close game until steve kerr start hitting those 3 pointers.....frustrating kaayo but wa tay mahims.......but sayang gyud to nga year.......they have the best record but short handed pa gyud......

I think maabot ni og game 7 .......but dako gihapon og chance ang spurs........weak gyud ang defense sa mavs.......whether you like or not............. but wa ta kahibalo lingin gud ang bola...........

Anyway, ganahan kau ko aning match-up sa Spurs and Mavs. mura ug soap opera. Dallas coach Avery Johnson was with the Spurs back in the first championship in 1998, while Michael Finley spent his 10-11 seasons with the Mavericks. And... it's gonna be a battle for the photographers taking snapshots of hottie Eva Longoria and hotheaded Mavs owner Mark Cuban in the sidelines. hehehe...

if the Spurs lose game 3 after three days of rest with Pop concocting an antidote for the pesky Devin Harris and Josh Howard then it would be a hard stretch for the Spurs. I think he's gonna have Mohammed start at center so they could have at least a cushion in the middle and minimize the fouls on Timmy. with regards to Van Exel and Finley, I'd rather have Harris/Terry combo anytime with Howard as the swingman. the trio are young and athletic which are more than enough for the experience that Nick and Mike could have shared. honestly, both are now defensive liabilities 'coz they've lost quickness due to age.

yep, i agree... wa pa gani kaayu gigamit si Darell Armstrong. That guy is like the Los Angeles Earthquake... Grabe ang INTENSITY... Im sure parker will have a hard time with him plus seasoned pa jud kaayu (Remember Rudy Distrito?) hehe

Game 3 between the Mavs and the Spurs was like watching a heavyweight boxing match during the 4th quarter. left hook here, uppercut there, cross here, jabs, jabs, jabs.. man that was a tight finish with the Mavs prevailing 104-103 after the smoke cleared.. whew.. it was like a "heart attack"' on steroids. it was still even exciting to watch with 2 seconds left and the Spurs were inbounding three fourths of the court and Horry hoisting that last shot.. what a finish!! next game would be on TNT Monday 945 PM ET about 1045 AM Phils time (Tues) be sure to watch.. :mrgreen:
