Should Couples Live Together before Marriage?

with both of you at a tender age (22 and 23) I won't recommend either.. stable jobs? do you think both your income can rent yourselves a decent apartment? pay the bills? electric, water etc etc..? what I'm saying is if you decide in staying together either living in or getting married, living separately from your parents is the important part of it. if you live with either of your parents, finding out the "real persons in both of you" would be difficult. it won't serve its purpose.

live-in set-ups is a lose-lose scenario for the women. granting that you know the guy inside-out, that won't be a guarantee that he'll stick with you no matter what happens in the future. there's no tie that binds both of you, in this instance, a marriage certificate. he can just leave you in an instant or look for somebody younger without worrying about legal issues. that's how simple that is for him.

if I were a parent for either of you I'll advice you both to wait for a couple of years and decide if you wanna get married by then. I was 22 once and I felt the same way you do during that time. if I resorted in living in with my gf during that time, I would have pitied that woman I was with 'coz I moved on quickly after I got bored with her. that's a point to ponder 'coz as a man I would tell you all those sweet nothings just to get to your drawers, and after I'm done with you it's "hasta la vista" baby.

all the guys reading my post would be laughing secretly like a hyena circling its prey. it won't be the guys who'll be crying after a failed live-in relationship. trust me on that.Â*

anyway, may i ask why mag live in? to test water blah, blah? you're both ready naman kaha? why not get married? what makes the difference nga in marriage, you will promise to live through thick and thin, man di bah? what then? are you expecting that after living in together, then your marriage life is a bed of roses? c'mon..and if d mo magkasinabot during the entire course of living in together, magbulag mo? gosh, such a waste of time and effort. you know already that it's an ample of emotional investment that you can hardly fight back coz it's very painful. bisan pag mag live in mo, it's not a ticket that you will know each other better..
