Also, I am not aware of the Seisouhen Director's Cut up until last week! 20 minutes additional footage on original Seisouhen (aka Reflections).

get that? like you mean download that? try looking for orbit downloader, you can download any vid from most of the streaming sites out there (so far the, sites where I wasn't able to download videos were from nicovideo and imeem)
Manga had the same ending iirc.

I would think it's from a whole episode...right!? Or is this just a really short DVD extra that was only exclusive in Japan?

Probably just a short extra/alt end, haven't seen the anime yet so I really can't say anything about it, but if i would really prefer it to end just like the manga (where everyone went trough their own separate ways and that only kenshin kaoru/the other kid, forgot the name but i'm pretty sure it had something to do with mario were left)
