Advantages/Disadvantages of Branded and Clone Servers?

I need ideas for a Server upgrade. What are the Advantages and Disadvantages between Branded and Clone Servers?

in terms of Performance, Reliability, Availaibility of Parts, Product Support, Parts Upgrades, etc...

Sa gawas kung mo palit kag banded server ang support nimo grabi, your paying alot for technical support.. kung diri ka pangita lang ug expert mo troubleshoot ana.. much better if you can troubleshot it personally. For performance,reliabilituy avalability of parts and upgrades exactly similar ra sa clone also clone servers are a lot more cheaper

Sa branded pwede mi maka upgrade ug parts with other brands (like memory and hdisk)?Â* mahal kaau ang parts ug support enrolment sa HP.

Karon make mi ug comparisons para sa server namo. Kon magpalit ba mi ug new server (Branded or Clone) or Upgrade nalang namo (5yr old server)? unsay ika recommend nimo that would last for years?

sa upgrade paths ra na daugon. because most brand sever companies monopolise their clients. marketing startegy ba.

u buy computer from them and enroll service and etc.. for 3years/24/7 support. di ka upgade with parts other from them with a cost up to neck.

with clone severs. pwede ra, basta compatible. and wen talking about brands. per part have it's own reccomendations to make a set.

ex. : MOBO: ASUS ; reccomendations

memory - KINGSTON ECC, blah blah, blah

unay di kau mahal.

to upgrade ur existing servers,
can u post the specs. para maglaway mi..umm. ma katabang (basin) pud mi.

im not fully aware of the warranty terms sa branded pero some brands maka void sa warranty if you upgrade some parts nga dli gikan nila gi palit. why not build your own server with a similar specs sa imong branded server nga na gustohan just make sure that the ram your getting is ECC
