sa akong pagka sabot sa theory of relativity is you can bend space if you have a very large mass on it.. the problem is, even black holes dont allow two spaces to connect with each other (wormholes)... no such mass exists or discovered to date.

the most probable explaination of a wormhole is to travel from one side of a black hole ACROSS to another point.. that would save you a lot of time than by just going around.. but you have to deal with the intense gravity...

what if you generate a wormhole within the earth.. wouldnt that suck things up?

kabasa ko article somwwer nga kana daw hadron particle collider can kill us all...

as for your 1st statement, its much more complicated than that. From what I've read in scientific papers, black holes and worm holes though similar, have different properties. So a wormhole, may not necessarily suck everything in like a blackhole. It really depends on nature of the wormhole you can generate if you can even generate one. All these things are still theoretical though. We are still far from really understanding how to generate one. hehehe

Regarding your last statement, there is no way this can happen. Brilliant physicists have taken part in this endeavor. Physicists have already been colliding subatomic particles at very high energies and they know what they are doing. Yes, a wormhole is created when they collide subatomic particle. But those wormholes are very very small and have very very short lifetime. They would simply just decay back into nothing. Sometimes the media over-hypes things physicists mention about. The european union and along with the other participating countries have spent a lot of money the LHC. The people approving the budget know what they doing because the physicists involve know what they are doing. And most of these physicists are Nobel Laureates. hehehe

wukie.. tnx for the info.. hehehe.. as long as they dont blow the planet up, for the sake of knowledge.. i hope they get interesting results..

naa ko question ba, since ingun ni einstien nga ang gravity is the result of bending the fabric of space and time, and because of that kining blackholes kay naay great amount of gravity to the point nga masking light dili makatakas. but since ang wormhole is also bending the fabric of space and time, but only has a different properties, as a result dili xa makasuyop og mga butang.... ang pangutana nako, ang wormhole ba wala graviton particles?

i don't really know about where gravitons come from. And nobody else knows. hehe! that is what they are trying to solve in string theory. Wormholes supposedly just bend the fabric of space and time from two spacial directions together. Pero ambot lang gyud regarding gravitons. It's a question that theoretical physicists are trying to tackle now.

As for you last paragraph, until we discover the true source of gravity or gravitons as you said, then we will know if such antigravity shield would even be possible.

..hehehe ^_^ ...

btaw, nindot jud bitaw huna-hunaon ning science kay murag almost walay impossibly.

what if inig sulod sa wormhole, wla diay effect kun di ma pino2x imo lawas?

diba kung wormhole mura mana siya ug shortcut lets say from one place to another..
so pwede pud ang wormhole is wormhole sa time ug sa space..so we could time travel through a wormhole or space travel..
nya diba derived raman ni from einstein's theory of relativity in which a matter could bend the
fabric of space and time..so tama ba na if there is a machine that could bend space or time like a sheet of paper or crample it like a warp drive then pwede ta makatravel na into distant time and world..
so mas dali ba ang magtravel to the speed of light or mangita/himu ug wormhole...

    @hizuka007
