I need serious help for my Beagle pup!

Hi, a little intro b4 getting into the root of the problem...

Two years ago while I was abroad, my mixed breed japanese spitz who was 14 years old suddenly died. I was heartbroken and it wasn't until recently that I decided to get another dog. A family friend of ours was selling beagles and I bought one home. It's such a dear.

However, she turned out to be extremely hyperactive to the extent that it seems like I am not able to control her at all. She eats anything (even her poo and pee), runs around the house like mad, and keeps chewing things (2 pairs of slippers of our maids are already destroyed). Although I could tolerate her as she is extremely sweet and cute, my mother is getting really irritated of her as the puppy is fond of jumping and giving friendly bites. I'm also concerned that when she gets older, she might cause my 87 year old grandma to fall.

So guys I really need advice on how to control her and what to do. My family is urging me to trade her in for another dog which I am really reluctant to do so... but given the circumstances, I have already started to search around for other pups (esp. japanese spitz)....

3 months ako beagle...hyper au..ni buy na kog 4 different chew toys, but dili jd cya macontented lang sa toys...

i.walk na permi bai.. if di gani mada "run".. hehe.. kuwang guro na ug exercise.. ug proper disiplina..
itoy pman sad nah.. di nana kiat igkadako..

beagles are hyperactive by nature. don't let her roam around your house. put her in a crate/cage and let her out only for a few hours to play or for walks, or to poop/pee.

normal raman na nga kiat ang mga itoy 3-5 months kiat pa kau, nig mga 6 or 7th month kalma nana cya,

where imo location brod? i think u just need to set rules for your pup.. do you walk him? normally when pups/dogs are bored they tend to be doing a lot of crazy stuffs and this is one of it. discipline your pup give him rules to follow. be the pack leader ika nga just in case things go worst then give me a pm i will help/teach you how to handle your pup for free

Thanks to u all sa inyong advice. Sala sad nako ky wla ko niread about the breed before buying...turns out nga innately stubborn jd diay ang breed and also hyperactive ky originally bred for hunting and sniffing man gud ang beagle wahaha. Naglagot na jud ang mga ppl sa amo huhu and naghint na jd cla nga ibaligya c jazzy...ipareplace og lain .... huhuhu cute unta au and lambing....
