um, I think the group might also need a SIX YEAR OLD GIRL.
trust me, a six year old girl will come in handy
also, a masscom person or anyone who can speak well, preferable someone na MATURE na kaau'g nawong unya pwedi mu-play ug newscaster......
also, about 10 extras who are willing to rub fake blood on their clothing and willing to play dead; and DROP DEAD in a certain scene.......
before anyone attacks me, I'm not speaking for anyone. Because its not my place to do that kind of thing just yet ......... but I am speaking for myself
artista for free!!!! nudity accepted!!!
thats very clever. you're in russia.
so you can tell us stuff like being OK with posing naken in front of a camera and acting for free.....
because the filmmaking team here is never gonna get to you :P
you must be mocking us
LOL, i dont think karamazov is in russia, the username just happens to be of russian descent so he/she is more likely obliged to put russia in the "location" hehehe.
btw, i dont think this is a "revival" of cebu's film industry coz there was no industry there in the first place. it was empty really. this is more like a "birth" or "awakening" or things of that sort.
heres hoping it all goes well...

It is really disheartening to know that a lot of Cebuanos are quite misinformed about Cebu's film history. It was during the 50's and 60's that Cebuano film industry once thrived and once entertaining the Visayan and Mindanao cebuano speaking moviegoers. The result of which, paved a way for local Cebuano stars to name a few; Matt Ranillo, Pilar Pilapil and others who are still entertaining us though still and are now based in Manila.
We do even have a Cebuano film who reaped an international award (Asian film Festival) during the heydays of Cebuano film industry.

i dont think those times were noteworthy, if they were, they would have dropped a living legacy of some sort to the Cebuanos so as to continue the advent of film-making(which at that time was very costly). i agree about the actors, but thats what they were, they acted. they just get picked up by manila or they go there to start a career. people who directed and wrote scripts and studied film were in manila, GENERALLY speaking. they were some good Cebuanos in the industry too, gladly. manila is like our "hollywood". aspiring people in film go there.
and im basically saying that it WAS and IS still "dead" not-literally. thats why i reffered to this movement or society as sumthin of an awakening or birth. its starting something. it can make it happen.
I could not agree more. It is an understatement calling an era not worthy of restrospection. It is unacalled for, demeaning the acts of Cebuoano artists at the time working for the upliftment of Cebu's cultural landscape . I understand though because some people are not born yesterday and they do not understand the mechanism of economics and and the inner workings of regional art during those times.
Literal or not, but the meaning remains and implied the same.
