Help me sa akong samsung CD/DVD writer

gud ebning ninyu naa qy gamay na problema about sa akong cd/dvd writer, padung na unta ko mag reformat den reinstall OS sa ako pc, tingala lang q inig boot nako sa cd kay mu drtsu man sa Loading sa windows xp... den pag tnaw nako sa my computer na detect man nya ang akong cd/dvd-rom pero inig open nako wala ko file makita... unsa pasabot ani guyz? guba na jd ni xa? naa pa ni xa chance? rarely ra kaau ni nako nagamit sayang kaau.. hope matabangan ko nnu mga brader... salamat...

try daw lain cd...then if d gihapon...try reseat if sata.... hehehe

then if ig reseat nmo naa nai sud....basin wa na set sa imo bios mao mo drtsu na karon sa windows xp logo...so need to set it to detect cd rom first before HD

mao,,, e configure sa bios bro,, first boot ang cdrom.... unya bantaye na inig "PRESS ANY KEY TO CONTINUE"........

yup na configure naman bro and pde raman sad dili e 1st boot ang cdrom, naa man shortcut key para mka pili ka inig startup unsa imu ipa boot... mao toh bsag na 1st boot ang ako cdrom, d man mugawas ang press any key to continue...nya pag tnaw nako sa my computer naa man ang drive sa aq cd/rom... sayanga sa ako cdrom, guba na jd ni mga bai inig open nako sa iya drive sa comp blanko man ang sulod maski unsa cd...

@TS: Sakto ilang tambag if di gihapon mag work tingale imo gamit na CD/DVD dili BOOTABLE maong abi nimo di mo boot imong CD. Hehhehehe lolz.

ive been using this pila na ka years pati sa akong mga clients n my own pcs... karon raman ni xa na ingani... unsa jd kha guba ani...

i see,,, murag guba njud na ang cdrom bro,,, or di kaha dli bootable or corrupt ang media,,,....much better huwam lang sah ka LAin CDROM para maconfirm b4 ka mopalit...

lain na cdrom aq ggamit okey man... unsa jd kaha ang guba ato aqng dvdrom... maau pa kaha... sayanga pd oie...

@TS: mao bahh well did you checked the CD RW/ROM on windows if its functioning like loading CDs or DVD movies to try if its working or not? try to check also your IDE cable or SATA cable if its properly connected as well as power supply.

If booting lang ang prob try to PRESS DEL on your keyboard or F2 then try look at bios if your CD/DVD was recognized. Other than that if its not working upon checking i think your optical drive is defective though. Windows would still recognizes defective optical drives even if its defective just as long naa pay signal power on.

sakay ko ngari ha @TS, naa pud ko dvd rom/writer, mo detect pa cya, pero dili na mo read, libog ko kay maka burn pa man cya, unsa kahay prob ani?
