D3000 or 450d? which one to buy

I'll probably buy it next week(maayo unta).
then if ma short ko sa budget, ok raba ang D3000?
and if madala, 450d ko...
and also this will be my first and last(tingali) DSLR..

i've read a lot of reviews already and they said ok daw ang D3000 kay murag d40/d60 with some functionality sa d90...

i was thinking of buying a 1000d peru ingon ako migo na naay 1000d na 450d nalang daw

ingon si lolo ken d3000 is a good camera but worst dslr ever made by nikon^^


im a nikon user but will advice you to get the 450D between the two. 450D body is a great iso performer.

unless if you are inclined to nikon and can squeeze more the budget, buy the higher model which is the nikon D90 instead.

if makabuy naka dslr, apil dayon sa atong punduk diri para lingaw^^

Gamay na man lang cguro imo kulang for a Canon 500D. But if 450D ug D3000 ra jud imo option choose the former no doubt!

if you really can... go for the 450d. pero if not d3000 nalang. the d5000 is the one with the about the same spec with d90. ang d3000 kay more like d60.

it's not really the cam but how you use it and make do with everything that you have. i have a friend with a d40 who was able to take great pics.

mao man kaha ni imng first ug last..... so utong gyud para dili ka magmahay sa imng tinigum....

Personally, I don't like to do manual focus. I'm lazy with regards to that and that's just me. There are many good photographers here with good results with their Nikon bodies with no AF motor. You can always buy lenses that have built in AF motors, but they cost higher than the ones without. Example: the classic 50mm 1.8 from Nikon doesn't have AF. So with your D3000, you need to manual focus. I'll go ahead and assume that you are on a tight budget and will always want to buy something that cost lesser - lenses with AF motors are not cheap.

And if you've come across Kuya Ken's site (Lolo Ken ni Chipmunk), he mentioned that D3000 is the worst Nikon camera ever - replacing Nikon D40 - his favorite everyday camera which he also called the crappiest from Nikon, before D3000 came out. But that's Kuya ken's opinion ha and ingon ana ka conflicting iyang mga opinion sometimes. (oh, anti kuya ken people don't need to react ha).

With that aside IQ of both cameras is about the same from the point of view of most users. Anha na mag daog sa nag gamit and pag PP sa output (purist don't react ok?).

Example situation lang ha. My 450D + 50mm 1.8 + AI servo on kids plaing and moving around. Sharp portraits Of course you can do the same with D3000 +50mm 1.8 with manual focus, only harder and very very much harder for people new to dslr.

ug 500d imo paliton, magmahay ka ngano dli d90 or 50d imo gikuha.
samot ug 450d ngano dli 500d imo gipalit. hahahaha

i know it cant. but if you want to take advantage of the new vr technology... and so far only AF-S lenses have the vr feature. correct me if i'm wrong.

if AF motor is really a dealbreaker.. then ur better off getting the 450d
