I doubt it. The MySQL server can be remotely accessed so I think the hacker simply went there and modified the database tables.

i was snooping around their webalizer (which was also disabled earlier) and found out the administrator's directory...

the system doesn't have an authentication what so ever... bisan naman lang gani og HTACCESS wala gyud... there you can see the culprits work... katong "Update your site naman blah blah blah..."

the culprit was not a hacker but a smart a$$...

Most probably, ni-expire ila domain name subscription.
Wala pa nila bayari or dili na nila bayaran.
Mao na ang result.

So the domain name becomes available for sale.
Tan-awa sa lower left portion.

Usual occurrence man na during ting-renew.
