DSLR questions (newbie on photography)

maaung adlaw ninyong tanan. ask lng unta ko sir on what are the use ug purpose ani mga stuff/functions sa ako DSLR. btw im using a sony alpha 200 dslr (all stock no upgrades done yet).

nya ask pd ko like kanang mo take ka ug pictures anang mga nag drag race na auto. unsa settings ang angay gamiton if:

1. clear ang auto then blurred ang background
2. blurred ang auto then clear ang background

and also on night na view unsay nindot settings gamiton pra clear ang imo subject like the city lights.

sorry daghan kaau ko pangutana kinda new on this hobby man gd and i really want to learn unsaon pagkuha ug mga pro na shots.

please explain on a laymans term cuz dli kaau ko mkasabot sa mga short cuts or pro terms na ginagamit.

sir, i suggest u watch the tutorials on YOUTUBE... it's easy to understand and it's taught step by step.... they've got lots of tutorial videos there..

1. ISO

this is the sensitivity of the photosensor of the camera. use the lowest setting possible to avoid noise in the pic.

2. Metering Mode

this is used when using the aperture-priority A, shutter-priority S or program P.

---b. center weighted - the camera automatically chooses the S or A depending on the exposure of the center area.

---c. spot - the settings used by camera is dependent on the small spot on the center of the frame. if it is dark then the cam adjust the settings to make it expose correctly.





1. clear ang auto then blurred ang background - this is called panning. use lower setting of shutter speed like 1/10 s then high f-value like f-13 to have large focus range then pan your cam with the movement of the subject.

2. blurred ang auto then clear ang background - low shutter speed but steady cam. on tripod if possibel

@xXx_xXx_xXx: bitaw. ang manual gyud dapat pinaka una nimu nga basahon og sabton kay kana imu tanan pangutana kay naa sa manual. After ana, makasabot naka and matubag na gyud imu uban pangutana. Sa uban pangutana nga dli matubag sa manual, naa ra diri mga hanas nga pwede mutabang nimu. Or, pwede pud sa google.
