ayaw sige practice with HTML. Focus on C++ and practice a lot. Look for programming exercises that you can do on your free time dayon practice pag-ayo.

Two key points on programming bay:
    1. Kinahanglan naa ka interest sa programming. Kung naa ka interest, you will hunger for more information and you will start to dig deep about Software Development. -> Mao ni ang theory nga part..

    2. Practice until mahimo na nimo nga native language kung unsa man gani programming language imo napilian.. Programming is the art of giving instructions for the computer to execute. So to give instructions, one must learn about language first(syntax and semantics). Then after learning the language, diha na makit.an ang imo creativity ug kung unsa ka gahi imo kung-fu.. -> Mao ni ang implementation nga part..

    P.S: Dapat balance ang Duha..

not totally agree ko ani, practice makes perfect but you have to be resourceful also, kay basin mabutang ka sa situation, "You keep punching the wall to get through it, but then pwde di ai mo gamit ka ug maso and not your fist"? sakit au, lisod pa jud if mao nah

    not yet.

do small things first (learn the basic first). sumbaga sa punching bag before the wall. kung mamaster na nimo sumbaga dayon ang wall (kung-fu masters can do it).

C/C++ is the lingua franca of computer science. Learning HTML is good, but it's better if you know the language that is used for creating that tools that interpret it (i.e., your browser is most likely coded in C/C++; the server that istorya.net runs on is coded in C/C++; the OS that you use is coded in C/C++).

HTML are too basic, even desktop applications now can export to HTML format, I really don't bother studying HTML,you can right click and view source in every page just to see the HTML code. you can have a single book if you plan to embed HTML codes in your application.

knowledge in C/C++ is there in every side of development. people who came from this language can adopt almost to any languages out there. I even had a lot of correct guesses at this moment while studying C#...implemented by this and that on C++.

However I still cannot recommend this though...not unless there are some guidance or the guy is willing enough to dedicate his time for this subject.

I recommend PYTHON, I find it more suitable for beginners and a great tool for advance users.
