1) if you want freedom to code, pagfreelance mo, or make ur own company..
or you could follow this alternative also..
2) which is you kiss-ass ur manager and make him believe na imong paagi ra maoy sakto..unya kung naa gani subordinate musupak sa imong style, ingna dayon sya na kulang pa sya bugas kinaon sa programming..
and hope to god and pray for your soul na imong implementation sakto, kay the fate of the company is riding on your smart-ass so-called "freedom to code"..
bitaw.. freedom to code only happens if you're the boss, and you talk directly to your client..which is point #1 above..
I never heard of a company that wont encourage innovation.
Of course you have to follow what is company's objective and goal. It's their business, you are getting paid that provides rice for your family and you should do work for them.
Freedom to code, we can still get. No one will stop you to optimize your code, beautify, refactor it, as long as you wont introduce any mess in your application. If you add Spring or decide to use .net in your apps, that's another story. You cannot decide for your own self. You have to ask or convince the stakeholder You have to work with the team and not just your preference.
Please be specific what do you want to do what should be an ideal working environment for you? Tell us what do you want. if you have capability like Hjelsberg probably you will get it. But it seems you are show off and n00b programmer, then you have to stick with company's plan and not your and your toy program.
